How to unlock the Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade / ZTE Libra U-V880 for free

Required in order to use another network's SIM card on your Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade / ZTE Libra U-V880


You can unlock the Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade / ZTE Libra U-V880 for free. Once unlocked, you may use any SIM card or network on your phone.

With some custom ROMs, you do not need to unlock the phone in order to use another SIM or network.

  1. Enter *#06# (do not ring the number) into the dialer to get the IMEI code for the phone.
  2. Enter the IMEI here and save the unlock code for later.
  3. Turn off the phone and remove the battery and SIM card.
  4. Insert a different SIM card from another network.
  5. Replace the battery and turn on the phone.
  6. You should automatically be asked to enter an unlock code. Enter the unlock code you got from Step 2.

    7. If you are not asked to enter an unlock code, the phone is either unlocked already or you are using a custom ROM that already unlocks your phone or you are trying to unlock with another Orange SIM.

  7. Done! You can now use any SIM/network on your phone.
